About This Part
Optimus Prime is a Balance Type Blade Hasbro built for the Basic Line system, sold in western countries paired with Megatron and later matched in Japan by Takara Tomy's own BX-00 edition on May 17th, 2025. Its Gear Chip pictures the Autobot leader in his evergreen look, cropped straight from artwork found in a 2017 Transformers character reference kit. The mould reuses KnightShield's plastic pieces, with a metal piece that is nearly the same as well.
