About This Part
Takara Tomy built Lightning L-Drago (Rapid-Hit Type) as a left-spin Attack Type Blade for the Basic Line system under the X-Over Project, carrying over the Rapid-Hit Mode from Lightning L-Drago 100HF, the Hybrid Wheel System Beyblade from the Metal Series that combined the L-Drago I Face, the L-Drago I Clear Wheel and the Lightning Metal Wheel. Japan saw its debut on September 14th, 2024, through a dedicated Random Booster. Since the newer Blade system does not allow the swappable parts of the original mode-change gimmick, the source part's two attack modes were divided between this Blade and a separate "Upper Type" Blade. Its three sets of triple ridged protrusions echo the original Rapid-Hit Mode and are meant for quick, repeated strikes, though uneven hollowing across the three contact points makes its motion erratic and drains Stamina through shaking.
In Play
Tournaments run by Beyblade Battle Base (B4) and by the World Beyblade Organization (WBO) treat the Rapid-Hit and Upper variants as one Blade for deck-building purposes, so only one of the pair may appear in a 3on3 deck and the two cannot be swapped between Battles.
