About This Part
ImpactDrake is a Blade Takara Tomy filed under the Attack Type, using four blades as its striking surface; it launched in Japan on December 28th, 2024 through the UX-11 Starter and reached the west afterward via Hasbro's Drop Attack Battle Set. Its Gear Chip depicts the Blue Dragon (Seiryū) in profile, one of the Four Auspicious Beasts in Chinese myth, continuing the design line shared by other Team Pendragon Beyblades. As a Unique Line part it swaps in rubber Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones to shift weight outward, and each of its four blades ends in a rubber dragon head where the primary contact points sit. When it launched, ImpactDrake was the heaviest Blade sold, averaging 39 grams, though its metal edges and rubber heads both wear down and dent with repeated use.
In Play
ImpactDrake's weight and jagged contact points give it exceptional Burst and Knockout Attack, and the community treats it as a must-run pick for the WBO's X format despite recommending several copies to offset wear.
- Released by Takara Tomy in Japan as the UX-11 Starter, ImpactDrake 9-60LR, on December 28th, 2024.
- Released by Hasbro in the west inside the Drop Attack Battle Set.
