About This Part
HellsChain, released by Takara Tomy for the Basic Line system and sold by Hasbro as Chain Incendio, is a round Balance Type Blade whose five blades and connecting chains form its main contact surface. It first appeared in Japan through the BX-21 HellsChain Deck Set on November 2nd, 2023, followed by a western release in Hasbro's Chain Incendio and Arrow Wizard Dual Pack. Its Gear Chip depicts a flaming skull standing in for the Grim Reaper. The round profile gives it strong Stamina, and it ranks among the heaviest Blades outside the Attack Type class.
In Play
Its weight and Stamina make it a favoured pick for Defense and Stamina builds, often teamed with ball-type Bits like Ball (B) or Orb (O), and sometimes sharp-edged options like Needle (N); compared with its predecessor HellsScythe it recoils less but holds less Stamina because its weight sits slightly unevenly, and its exposed underside leaves the Ratchet more open to Bursts.
- Released by Takara Tomy in Japan as HellsChain via the BX-21 HellsChain Deck Set on November 2nd, 2023.
- Released by Hasbro in the west as Chain Incendio in the Chain Incendio and Arrow Wizard Dual Pack.
