About This Part

DranzerSpiral is a Balance Type Basic Line Blade from Takara Tomy's X-Over Project line, adapting the Dranzer Bit Chip, Double Wing Attack Ring and Eight Balance Weight Disk that shipped with the original Spin Gear System's Dranzer S. It launched in Japan on July 15th, 2023 as the BX-00 Booster and reached the west through a Hasbro Starter Pack. Because the system locks these legacy parts into one piece that cannot be separated, its two long blades enabling Upper Attack echo the Double Wing Attack Ring, extra contact points mirror the Eight Balance Weight Disk, and its Gear Chip carries the original Dranzer Bit Beast artwork. Like other X-Over Project Blades it uses polycarbonate plastic Launcher Hooks rather than metal, and at 27.7 grams it was the lightest Blade released at the time, 4 to 7 grams under other Blades issued the same day.

In Play

The light weight lets it move at high speed paired with flat-tipped Bits such as Flat or Rush, but that same weight gives it very low Stamina and less Smash Attack than dedicated Attack Type Blades like SharkEdge, so the community does not recommend it for the WBO's X format, treating it as outclassed for Attack use and too light for Defense or Stamina builds.
