About This Part
BlackShell is a Defense Type Blade Takara Tomy released for the Basic Line, debuting in Japan on July 13th, 2024 with the BX-35 Random Booster Vol. 4; Hasbro later brought it west as Obsidian Shell. Shaped like a diamond with eight points around its edge acting as contact surfaces, it belongs to the Team Pendragon group of Blades that nod to the Bladebreakers' Beyblades from Bakuten Shoot Beyblade, standing in for Draciel. Its Gear Chip shows Genbu, the black tortoise of the Chinese four-beast set, in profile, beside the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade logo every Team Pendragon piece carries.
