About This Part
Bite Croc is an Attack Type Blade Hasbro released for the Basic Line, first sold in western markets with the Bite Croc and Sting Unicorn Dual Pack; Takara Tomy later brought it to Japan under the name CrocoCrunch through the BX-00 mail-order booster CrocoCrunch 2-60Q on January 15th, 2025. Its two oversized blades, decorated with crocodile texturing and carrying a crocodile-themed Gear Chip, are angled upward and shaped to hit hard on contact.
In Play
CrocoCrunch reuses the plastic pieces of SharkEdge (Keel Shark) essentially unchanged and keeps the metal insert nearly identical too, adding only the crocodile texture; it runs about half a gram lighter than SharkEdge on average, which gives competitive players no real reason to reach for it over the heavier SharkEdge or the similarly retooled Optimus Primal, though the performance gap between them is small. Among SharkEdge's various retools, CrocoCrunch and Optimus Primal are the closest to the original design.
- Debuted in western markets with the Bite Croc and Sting Unicorn Dual Pack.
- Debuted in Japan as CrocoCrunch on January 15th, 2025 with the BX-00 mail-order booster.
