About This Part
Zap, marked Z, is a Balance-type Bit from Takara Tomy's Unique Line for Beyblade X, shaped with a wide flat tip and a small rounded bump at its centre. Launched at an angle, the flat rim drives it into aggressive, roaming movement, while a level launch lets it settle and spin on the central bump near the middle of the stadium. Its shaft has sixteen gear teeth in place of the standard twelve, so its Xtreme Dash comes on faster than a normal Bit's, at the price of extra Stamina drain. It debuted in Japan on April 26th, 2025 with the UX-14 Starter ScorpioSpear 0-70Z, and Hasbro brought it overseas in the Spear Scorpio and Tail Viper Dual Pack.
In Play
Because it can be tuned toward Attack or Stamina depending on launch angle, competitive players value Zap for its flexibility across different combo roles.
