About This Part

Wedge, marked W, is a Defense-type Bit from Takara Tomy's Custom Line for Beyblade X, built around a slim, sharply pointed tip. That narrow contact point holds the Beyblade near dead centre of the stadium and keeps Stamina loss low over a long spin. Its internal gear carries only ten teeth against the usual twelve, so a Wedge combo spends less Stamina whenever it launches into an Xtreme Dash, whether the blader means to trigger one or not. It launched in Japan on March 29th, 2025 with the CX-03 Booster PerseusDark B6-80W, then reached western shelves through Hasbro's Custom Line Starter Pack Dark Perseus B 6-80W.

In Play

The combination of a centring tip and a lighter gear load makes Wedge a favourite for Stamina and Defense builds that want to avoid an accidental dash costing them the match.

  • Released in Japan on March 29th, 2025 with the CX-03 Booster PerseusDark B6-80W
  • Released by Hasbro as part of the Custom Line Starter Pack Dark Perseus B 6-80W
  • A gold-coloured Wedge was handed out only as a G3 tournament prize.

The Competitive View

Its low-friction metal tip makes it easy to knock out of the stadium, its low tip position under a bulky plastic base creates a top-heavy, scrape-prone build, and its tall height leaves it especially vulnerable to upward-angle hits that destabilize it and worsen both scraping and Knock-Out risk.

Verdict as the draft gives it: Wedge is outclassed by Revolve (lower destabilization risk), Orbit (better KO resistance), and Atomic (better procession, stamina, and overall versatility), recommended for collection purposes only.

  • Tall sharp metal tip, likened to the Metal Sharp Performance Tip from Metal Fight Beyblade
  • Takara Tomy release: B-102 Booster Screw Trident 8Bump Wedge

Related parts named in the draft: Metal Sharp (Metal Fight Beyblade), Revolve, Orbit, Atomic.
