About This Part
Vortex, shortened to V, is an Attack Type Bit that Takara Tomy released under the Custom Line system, debuting in Japan on March 29th, 2025 with the CX-01 Starter, DranBrave S6-60V, and later reaching western stores through Hasbro's Custom Line Starter Pack, Courage Dran S 6-60V. Its flat tip has spikes curling outward and angled to the right, and that spiral profile builds up speed and forceful movement, making it easy for a combo to catch the Xtreme Line and trigger an Xtreme Dash. Set against Cyclone, which curls its spikes the opposite way, Vortex has a wider diameter, which trades a bit of stamina for extra speed.

The Competitive View
Its wide shape makes it one of the heavier Frames, boosting Attack potential when paired with heavier Core Discs (2/4/5/7/8) in the combo Legend Spriggan/Sieg Xcalibur 2/4/5/7/8 Vortex Xtreme.
Verdict as the draft gives it: An excellent alternative to the heavier Meteor Frame for Attack combos when Meteor is unavailable; called a welcome addition.
- Debut: B-73 Starter God Valkyrie 6Vortex Reboot, March 18, 2017
- Wide, triangular shape with wave details; too small to touch the opponent's layer
