About This Part
Rush, shortened to R, is an Attack Type Bit that Takara Tomy released under the Basic Line system, debuting in Japan on November 2nd, 2023 with the BX-20 DranDagger Deck Set and later reaching western stores through Hasbro's Xtreme Battle Set. It carries a flat tip that drives forceful movement, making it simple to catch the Xtreme Line and set off an Xtreme Dash. Compared with the earlier Flat bit, Rush has a smaller tip diameter and fewer internal gears, which lowers the stamina cost of each Xtreme Line contact at the price of a slower dash — a deliberate trade meant to let the dash happen more often, which is where its name comes from.
In Play
Rush has stayed a mainstay Attack option since release, offering top-tier offence without the breakage risk of harsher Attack bits; its smaller tip and fewer gears also give it the best stamina of any Attack Type bit, and it sees use even in anti-attack builds such as those running the WizardRod blade. Community players regard it as essential for the WBO's X format.
