About This Part
Orb, shortened to O, is a Stamina Type Bit that Takara Tomy released under the Basic Line system, debuting in Japan on October 7th, 2023 with the BX-16 Random Booster ViperTail Select and reaching western stores through Hasbro's Tail Viper and Sword Dran Dual Pack. It carries a rounded ball tip similar to the earlier Ball bit, but touches the stadium floor over a smaller area, which gives it greater stamina and stronger resistance to being knocked out. That hemispherical shape helps an Orb build stay parked near the middle of the stadium.
In Play
The reduced contact area gives Orb builds stronger stamina and knockout resistance than Ball, making it a common pick for players building toward a centre-holding, endurance-focused combo.
