About This Part
Low Flat is an Attack Type Bit that Takara Tomy issued under the Basic Line system, arriving in Japan on September 9th, 2023 with the BX-14 Random Booster Vol. 1 and later reaching western buyers through Hasbro's Booster Pack, Keel Shark 3-60LF. Shortened to LF, it weighs 2.1 grams, measures a 7.2 millimetre tip width and stands 28.7 millimetres tall. Its flat contact point drives forceful movement that helps a combo catch the Xtreme Line and set off an Xtreme Dash. It sits roughly a millimetre shorter than the standard Flat bit and, unlike Flat, has no shallow dish carved into its centre; three notches ringing the bit mark it as a Low-type part, a shape that also leaves it more prone to chipping.
In Play
Because the shortened design tends to crack under repeated impact, competitive players generally keep several spares of Low Flat on hand rather than relying on a single copy.
