About This Part
Gear Flat, abbreviated GF, is a Bit Takara Tomy released under the Basic Line system, first appearing in Japan on December 10th, 2023 with the BX-23 Starter, PhoenixWing 9-60GF. Hasbro brought it west inside the Soar Phoenix Deluxe String Launcher Set. It weighs 2.3 grams, measures 7.9 mm across the tip, and stands 29.6 mm tall. Its flat contact surface carries the teeth meant for the Xtreme Dash gimmick running down to the base of the tip, forming a twelve-point wide flat surface with a shallow dip in the centre. That shape gives it extremely energetic wobble and makes catching the Xtreme Line rail for a dash easier still than the standard Flat.
In Play
Gear Flat ranks among the community's more aggressive Attack Bit choices, prized for how readily it triggers repeated Xtreme Dashes.
