About This Part
Gear Ball, abbreviated GB, is a Bit Takara Tomy released under the Basic Line system, first appearing in Japan on December 27th, 2023 with the BX-24 Random Booster Vol. 2. Hasbro released it in the west through the Yell Kong and Helm Knight Dual Pack. It carries a wide ball-shaped tip with the teeth meant for the Xtreme Dash gimmick running all the way down to the base of the tip. That broader contact surface gives Gear Ball more energetic wobble than the standard Ball, and when an opponent strikes it, the wider surface and longer teeth make it more likely to catch the Xtreme Line rail and set off a dash.
In Play
Gear Ball works as a Stamina piece that still leans into Xtreme Dash triggering more readily than the plain Ball, giving it a more aggressive edge in defensive builds.
