About This Part
War Bear is an Attack Ring for the Spin Gear System that debuted with Galzzly, weighing 8 grams. Two bear-head shapes lead into three tightly packed, pickaxe-like projections; in right spin the heads serve as the main hit point, delivering blunt Smash Attack at the cost of heavy recoil, while the crowded remaining projections barely register. In left spin its leading spike offers a little Smash Attack but is fragile enough that it rarely pays off, and its packaged free-spinning Sub-Attack Ring only adds recoil rather than helping.
In Play
Competitive players consider the ring itself largely without merit; its Sub-Attack Ring, War Bear SAR, is only worth using in left spin and only when fixed in place by a setup built to stop it spinning freely, since a free-spinning part cannot land a solid hit.
- Debuted with Galzzly.
