About This Part
Seagon Attacker is an Attack Ring from the Hard Metal System that debuted with the release of Sea Dragon. It weighs 22 grams and takes an unusual construction for its line: the metal frame sits on top of the ABS plastic caul rather than underneath it, the reverse of every other Hard Metal System Attack Ring. Metal walls run around its edge with three raised bumps on each side meant to deflect incoming hits, and in left spin two hammer-shaped heads deliver an unusually forceful Smash Attack.
In Play
That same Smash Attack carries so much recoil that a hit is likely to stall or knock out the Beyblade using Seagon Attacker as often as it does the opponent, so competitive players largely avoid it, though it can add some attack and defence to a survival-oriented build.
- Released with Sea Dragon as part of the Hard Metal System.
- Its metal frame sits on top of the ABS caul, the opposite arrangement from every other Hard Metal System Attack Ring.
