Parts in detail
One of Hasbro's licensed 'Hidden Spirits' figurine recolors of Takara's Bakuten Shoot mold originally released as Bakutenryu Hayate; collectors state that all four figurines in this recolor set (this one and Zinrai (Hasbro) among them) share identical internal Beyblade parts, differing only in figurine and color. The Hasbro mold routes recoil-adding poles through the Attack Ring itself rather than the figurine attachment used on the Takara original, and clips the Attack Ring and Weight Disk onto the base instead of screwing them on as on standard plastics-era Beyblades. Only the Weight Disk's name (Weight Ring) is confirmed by Takara or Hasbro; collectors assign the other part names based on Bakutenryu Hayate, the mold's first release.
| Slot | Part | Weight | Spin | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Ring | Hayate Attack Ring (Hasbro) | 4.7 g | Both | In left spin it delivers a large amount of Smash Attack against light and midweight opponents, competitive enough to be worth using, but the poles create severe (including rotational) recoil that limits it to only a few solid hits and risks self-knockouts against heavier or taller foes; the recoil is worse than on the equivalent Takara mold. In right spin it keeps similar recoil while losing most of its power, making it uncompetitive there. |
| Weight Disk | Weight Ring | 12.4 g | Its light weight and somewhat free-spinning fit cause inertia problems on launch and when hit, but its strongly edge-focused weight distribution offers a modest assist to the otherwise poor Hayate bases. It legally counts as a Weight Disk and so cannot be combined with other Beyblades under tournament rules. | |
| Blade Base | Hayate Base (Hasbro) | 6.7 g | Losing the downward protrusions makes only a slight difference; the base is still hampered by poor stability, poor Life After Death, no aggression, and inability to mount stronger parts, though it's marginally less bad than Takara's original Hayate Base. It only accepts Weight Ring. |
Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
