Description

Takara Tomy's X-Over Project put a Beyblade X remake of Trypio to a public vote in August 2023, where it topped the poll as the top finalist among fifteen candidates and earned two prototype builds. A first prototype appeared publicly at the X-Treme Cup G1 event in December 2023, styled as a Defense Type built from a Trypio Blade, 3-60 Ratchet and Needle Bit. Takara Tomy called off the release in January 2024 over safety concerns: the wide blade diameter risked catching a Blader's fingers during launch, and a redesigned, narrower prototype was judged too different from the original to carry the name.
