The set almost nobody documented
Twenty-seven Spanish-language cards sold in Peru, each printed with an Ataque and a Defensa value: sixteen bit-beasts, ten bladers and a referee.
- 27cards, numbered 01 to 27 with no gaps
- 16bit-beasts, against 10 bladers
- 4cards printed with the wrong labels
- 27cards photographed
How the cards are built
Every card uses the same frame: a bar across the top carrying Ataque and Defensa, artwork from the original series, and a plate along the bottom with the card’s name and three fields. Two templates share that frame. A bit-beast card reads Blader, Grupo and Ataque — who wields it, the team, and the named attack. A blader card reads Bit, Grupo and Categoria, and the third line simply says “Blader”.
Border colour is not the card type. It tracks the numbers: red cards run 01–06 with attack 2100–2500, green cards run 07–14 with attack 1250–1500, yellow cards run 15–24 with attack 500–1000, blue cards run 25–27 with attack 1650–1850. Nothing printed on a card says so, but the pattern holds across all twenty-seven, and it is the closest thing this set has to a rarity ladder.
One card belongs to neither template. #20 Arbitro, the referee, carries a single line: “Controla y vigila los combates entre bladers”.
Faults on the cards, not in our reading
Four cards print the wrong labels
On four cards the printer used the other template’s field names. Gary is a blader and Galzzly is his bit-beast, yet his card reads “Blader: Galzzly” and “Ataque: Blader”. Each of these was checked twice against the photograph, because a transcription slip was the likelier explanation until it wasn’t. We print what the card prints and say where it is wrong; we never quietly correct a card.

What is still unknown
- The year. Four sources give three answers, and no card carries a printed date.
- How the cards were sold. No pack, wrapper, box or album has been seen, and the magazine article that documents Kidy’s does not mention cards at all.
- Whether the back ever carried rules. It does not: the shared back is the Beyblade logo on a blue swirl with the Kidy’s logo bottom right, and nothing else.
- Whether 27 is the complete set. The run 01–27 has no gaps, which is suggestive but not proof.
- Whether rules were published, or whether the Ataque and Defensa numbers were meant for comparison the way Top Trumps works.
The year is not settled. Listing titles say 2002 and the same seller's own item details say 2001; our earlier note, from PSA's acceptance list, says 2002; and Kidy's magazine only began covering Beyblade when it returned in 2003. No card carries a printed date.
