About this page
One of these threads is worth little: somebody posts a town and asks whether anyone plays. Together they are a map of where this game reached over seventeen years, and the useful part is where it did not. Each place is matched against the 6,048 tournaments in our archive at two levels, because one alone misleads: 35 of these towns never hosted an event themselves, and 30 are in a region that never hosted one at all. Matching on the town alone first said 112 places had never seen a tournament, which was wrong — it counted Oahu as untouched while the archive holds four events on the island, in Aiea and Waipahu.
These are private people asking to meet strangers, so a record keeps the place and the outcome and never a name, a link or an invite. "Found a group" covers both a group that formed from the asking and one that already existed and was pointed out, because that is how the threads were read and we would rather label it accurately than imply every ask started a club. 32 threads named no place at all and are not shown. Read on September 19, 2026.
