Takara opened its run of Limited Edition sets with this release in January 2000, built for the original four-layer part system and later followed by a 2001 edition. Unusually for the line, this first set printed each top's pull odds directly on the box. The first half offered three colourways of Ultimate Dragoon, distinguished only by their Weight Disk colour, while the second half spread pulls across Bakushin-Oh, Frostic Dranzer, Saizo and Bump King, with a Short Winder and EZ Shooter rounding out the extras.
