Takao Aoki

Lead writer and illustrator behind the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade manga, the source material that Nelvana's Beyblade, Beyblade: V-Force and Beyblade: G-Revolution adapted for television. Aoki's other manga work leans toward toy and video-game tie-ins, including titles built around Zoids and a PlayStation 2 title called Bakufuu Slash! Kizna Arashi. He spent much of his career at the publisher Shogakukan and turned up at a BBA World Championships event in New York in 2004 to meet fans and sign autographs.
