Beyblade The Movie - Fierce Battle, known in Japan as Bakuten Shoot Beyblade The Movie: Fierce Battle!! Takao VS Daichi, is the franchise's first film, released August 17, 2002. The Bladebreakers' vacation is interrupted by Daichi Sumeragi's rematch obsession and mysterious Beybladers claiming to be Dark Spirits, who possess Daichi and threaten the world with Dark Bit-Beasts until Tyson, Max, Ray, and Kai step in to save him.
