Magtram

The Magtram is a Core that first appears in Beyblade: V-Force's episode The Magtram Threat, forged from an artificial alloy built around rare magnetic elements from the periodic table. Spinning at high speed, it reshapes the magnetic field around the Beyblade, cutting air drag to give a skilled blader sharper manoeuvrability, stability and speed, while also storing up kinetic energy across a match that releases as a burst of extra attack power. Doctor B and Gideon tested an early version in a laboratory tank before Slim and Fatso passed the prototype to Snakey, who mastered it quickly enough to defeat seven bladers in seconds; data drawn from his battles later fed into the MG Core's design.

  • Snakey was the first blader to pilot a Magtram, testing an early prototype version of the part.
  • Team Psykick alone held the technology at first, but once their data leaked, other bladers built copies or received variants of their own.
  • Takara and Hasbro later sold Beyblades fitted with magnetic cores meant to echo the Magtram's effects; in the United Kingdom these were marketed under the name Mag-core, a blend of Magtram and MG Core.
