Basic Line

Marked out on shelves by a blue packaging band, Basic Line opened the Beyblade X toyline and set the three-piece Blade/Ratchet/Bit structure every later X-series system builds on. The Blade carries the printed Avatar art under its Gear Chip and supplies the top's main contact points; the Ratchet sits between Blade and Bit, twisting into place to fix both spin direction and Burst Resistance. Bits come in a wide spread of subtypes, from Low and High variants that shave or add a millimetre of height to Wall and Rubber Bits built around grip and stability rather than raw speed. Later revisions swapped the Gear Chip's paper Avatar cutout for a sticker and, by mid-2026, added weight through a heavier Version 2.0 Blade design.
