Biography
Xavier Bogard, known as Xhan Bogard in Japan, is a prince and heir apparent who proves his worth by pulling a legendary hero's sword and, mentored by Xander Shakadera, forges it into his Beyblade Breaker Xcalius, later joining the elite Turbo 4. Calm, adventurous, and altruistic despite his royal upbringing, he trains and rivals Aiger Akabane aboard the Battleship Cruise and welcomes him warmly into his kingdom. He is notable for being the only Turbo 4 member whose Beyblade Phi never destroys, though he still loses decisively to both Phi and Aiger in battle.
Appearance and personality
What They Look Like, and How They Behave
Xavier is short and fair-skinned, with spiked grey hair and turquoise eyes. His formal, almost militaristic outfit runs to a dark-red tunic with jet-black cuffs and gold trim, gold cording looped across one shoulder, a blue sash fastened at the waist with a turquoise-blue belt, jet-black shorts with gold borders, striped knee socks and red-striped brown shoes, with an "X" worked into both the belt buckle and his lapels. Away from blading he switches to a medium-blue robe with a white fluffy trim and a red-violet lining, and carries a white, claymore-styled cane set with dark-blue gems. For training he wears a worn honolulu-blue gi with the sleeves torn off, a black belt and shoes, and white wraps around his forearms and ankles.
Xavier is calm, friendly and has an adventurous streak, shown by his find of an ancient sword, and he treats both training and battling with genuine seriousness. He picked up a good sense of humour from his mentor, Xander Shakadera. He's also willing to put himself at risk for others, as when he saves Naru from a trap aboard a ghost pirate ship. Growing up as royalty hasn't changed his manner in the slightest: he stays friendly and courteous with everyone he meets and shows real hospitality, welcoming Aiger into his palace and offering to help strengthen the bond between him and his Bey.
