Biography

Warden, real name Edward Kado (Bantaro Kado / alias Kadovar in Japan), is a boisterous Pro Blader stationed by the B4 commission to test first-floor victors of The X tower before they can advance. Behind his loud, teasing exterior he can turn unexpectedly harsh when delivering hard truths, and he carries history as a former member of the disbanded Team Top Blend alongside Meiko Myoden and Ai Nekki, who broke up after Meiko's severe injury. He is a self-described fan of blader-influencer Multi Nana-iro and continues appearing across all three Beyblade X seasons as a recurring gatekeeper figure.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and muscular, Warden has spiky green hair and, since Top Blend disbanded, a dark visor that hides his eyes. His outfit is built almost entirely from black: a black top under a black jacket with silver highlights, black trousers, black gloves, a scarf, and black boots also trimmed in silver.

Warden is upbeat, boisterous and loud, someone who genuinely enjoys a good battle and takes pleasure in watching others improve. He laughs freely and often, and carries a teasing streak that comes out in his back-and-forth with Meiko Myoden, though he can also turn noticeably more subdued. There's clearly more going on beneath the noise than the loud exterior first suggests.
