Wales is a proud, formal English member of Team Excalibur representing England alongside teammates Sophie, Klaus, and leader Julian Konzern, tag-battling with Sophie as "Julian's Twin Jewels." He and Sophie carry the team through early rounds of the Festival of Warriors and the World Championships before losing to Tsubasa Otori's awakened dark power, and later suffer defeat under Dr. Ziggurat's manipulation of Julian at Hades City. Fiercely loyal to Julian above all else, Wales resurfaces briefly in Metal Fury to guide Gingka's group to the Sword of the Gods and later lends Gingka power to help defeat Nemesis.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Pale-skinned and slim, Wales is a teenager with short ginger hair, his cerulean-blue eyes set beneath V-shaped eyebrows and a fringe that falls over his right eye. He wears a black choker with a blue long-sleeved dress shirt patterned in white roses, black trousers, white socks and black shoes.

Loyal and formal by nature, Wales prides himself on his heritage to the point of taunting or simply ignoring anyone he considers beneath him. That formality cuts the other way too, keeping him polite to everyone he meets regardless of how he privately judges them. Alongside Sophie, he holds fierce loyalty to his leader, Julian Konzern, and would do anything necessary to keep him safe.

A disciplined tag specialist whose synchronised play with Sophie wins early rounds, but who is overwhelmed whenever a genuinely elite blader shows up.
