Biography

Toko Aoi, known as Tokonatsu Aoi in Japan, is the younger brother of world champion Valt Aoi and twin brother of Nika Aoi. An energetic, analytical member of the Beigoma Academy BeyClub, he often studies Beys on a tablet during matches and later becomes club leader in Beyblade Burst Turbo after Fubuki Sumiye departs for America. His Beyblade changes across continuities, running from Doomscizor and Raging Roktavor in the earlier series to Spiral Treptune 8Bump Wedge by Turbo. He reaches the Luinor Cup semifinals in the manga before losing to Suoh Genji, staying close to his twin sister throughout.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Light blue hair and teal-green eyes mark Toko out as a schoolboy, along with a small fang poking out of his mouth like his twin sister Nika. His outfit includes a small orange cap bearing a black Beyblade symbol, a bright green shirt with a white collar running along the upper sleeves, dark blue shorts striped in white, and teal sneakers with white tips. Two years later in Turbo, now older, he switches to a yellow hoodie with an orange "T" emblem, bright green sleeves, pocket pouches and wrist and waist stripes, worn over a black shirt, with dark blue trousers, dark blue-and-white boots with a green base, black sleeveless gloves and a blue cap carrying the same symbol; his fang has since disappeared with age.

Toko shares his twin sister Nika's energetic, cheerful streak, and he shows real devotion to the Beigoma Academy BeyClub, his brother's team, regularly cheering from the crowd alongside her. His enthusiasm for the sport goes beyond spectating — he's often seen analysing Beys on a tablet during matches, and at times he even offers Valt tactical advice during the District and Individual Tournaments.
