Biography

Tithi is the shy, mask-wearing Legendary Blader representing Venus in Beyblade: Metal Fury, wielding the ancestral Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF. Villagers once mistook him for a monster because of his Mesoamerican headdress, when in truth he was simply too timid to approach anyone and only stole food to survive. Yu Tendo's friendliness draws him out of his shell, and though he dislikes Kyoya's bluntness, he fights alongside both against Nemesis, defeating Aguma with his own move, Ishtar Impact.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

In the anime, Tithi has a Mesoamerican look that ties to his Beyblade, Death Quetzalcoatl. He is short, with purple hair worn in three pink pigtails, dark brown skin and light blue eyes ringed underneath by yellow face paint. His beige poncho, trimmed with a green line, white circles and bottom tassels, closes at the collar with adjustable strings, and he wears beige boots along with a Mesoamerican mask and headdress resembling the one worn by the ancestor who first owned Death Quetzalcoatl. In the manga he looks quite different: a long, triangular purple hat with red highlights, a long green coat over a yellow undershirt dotted with small objects, bulky sleeves, a large brown staff, and painted cheeks.

Tithi is deeply shy, and people once mistook that shyness — hidden behind his unsettling mask — for monstrousness. He panics when Kyoya and Yu first chase him down, having never really had a friend before his mask frightened people away, but the two eventually win him over. Despite the timidity, he turns out to be a formidable Legendary Blader who genuinely enjoys battling, and his demeanour turns childish and playful once he's comfortable, jumping and waving his arms much like Yu does. Cheerful underneath the nerves, he even picks up Yu's habit of calling Kyoya "Yo-Yo."

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Originally conceived as a female character, but CoroCoro's editors pushed for a male design over sales concerns for a girl using a mainline Starter release.
  • Has a verbal tic of ending sentences with 'gen'.
  • He is the youngest and shortest of the Legendary Bladers.
