Biography

Three Cross is one of Zero Cross's nine children in the Cross Clan, twin brother to Four Cross, and shares her signature Umbra Sol D 5-70TK using a tandem attack style he never varies from. Arrogant and desperate to prove himself worthy of his father's approval, he mocks weaker siblings but is caught off guard when a rematch opponent studies and counters his unchanging tactics. He and Four form a genuinely tight partnership, taking turns scouting opponents before committing to their pincer finishers.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Three is tall and tan-skinned, with heterochromia — an orange left eye and a purple right one — and orange, wavy hair streaked with purple. Two moles sit above and below his left eye. Like his twin sister, he wears a grey jacket with a white collar over a black undershirt, paired with white shorts lined in orange, long black tights and dark grey shoes with orange laces, plus a sun-shaped necklace. He often carries a small pouch, shared with Four, that holds their Beyblade, Umbra Sol.

Three's talent for blading has made him arrogant and haughty, and he mocks opponents he judges weaker than himself, sometimes even turning that scorn on his own siblings, particularly Nine and Six. That overconfidence costs him: he never adjusts his tactics, which proves his undoing in a rematch against Sigrid once she learns Umbra Sol's weakness. Like his twin Four, he bristles at any suggestion that his strength only exists because of her. Beneath the arrogance runs the same anxiety driving all his siblings — a desperate need to win their father Zero's approval, for fear that losing might see Zero abandon him.

The tandem pincer with his twin beats Ginro, Titus and Nine, but he never varies it, so Sigrid and Six both learn to break it.
