The Masked Bull is Benkei Hanawa's wrestler-styled alter ego in Beyblade: Metal Masters, adopted as a sub-member of Team Wild Fang representing Africa in the World Championships. Behind the mask and bull-themed costume he becomes louder and more intimidating than his usual self, using the persona to unsettle opponents before they even battle. His limited screen time is mostly spent hyping up Team Chandora and watching teammates Nile and Kyoya fight, with only one documented battle of his own.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

As the Masked Bull, Benkei dresses in a white wrestler's outfit trimmed with red fabric at the shoulders and orange stripes. A brown leather belt bearing a golden bull emblem cinches his waist, and his hands are covered in grey and dark brown gloves. His face disappears behind a white-and-red mask marked with a red bull symbol echoing the face bolt of Dark Bull.

Taking on the Masked Bull persona turns Benkei louder and far more determined to defeat other bladers than usual. He plays up a tough exterior on purpose, hoping to intimidate rivals into fear so that beating them comes that much easier.

Benkei's bull-headed charging under a wrestling mask: plenty of noise and power, but his one match in the persona ended in a tag loss.
