Biography
The manga version of Sora Akatsuki plays a bigger role than his anime counterpart, becoming a genuine fan of Gingka Hagane after watching him defeat a hundred Face Hunters. He qualifies deep into the Battle Bladers tournament with Cyber Pegasis, only to be betrayed by tag partner Tobio Oike before ultimately losing to Ryuga's overwhelming Dark Move. He returns for the Big Bang Bladers selection matches, loses a hard-fought bout to Gingka, and later helps free Gingka's mind from the darkness of Hell Kerbecs during the climactic battle against Damian Hart's Team America.
Appearance and personality
What They Look Like, and How They Behave
In the manga he's dressed in a white sleeveless jacket over red-and-blue trousers, with brown fingerless gloves worn as part of his gear. A gold belt holds his Bey along with his launcher, grip and Beypointer, and the launcher and grip share the same red as Cyber Pegasus's fusion wheel.
This version of Sora is impulsive and mainly wants to belong, chasing the kind of friendships Gingka has. His love of Beyblade runs deep, and time spent around Gingka and Kyoya leaves a lasting mark on him, earning both of them his genuine respect.
