Biography

Silas Karlisle is Beyblade Burst Evolution's arrogant, self-styled 'oresama' deuteragonist, a BC Sol member who left Sunbat United after being scolded for a loss. Fighting with the demon-themed Kinetic Satomb, he takes opponents seriously only when he respects their strength, and his overconfidence has cost him key matches, most notably a loss to Free De La Hoya in the World League. Over the series he mellows, growing genuinely supportive of teammates like Valt Aoi and eventually mentoring young Blader Hyuga Hizashi, though he never fully sheds his blunt, self-centered edge.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall for a teenager, Silas has blue eyes, messy green hair with a yellow lightning-shaped streak in his bangs, purple-tinted triangular glasses, sharp teeth like Xander Shakadera and Lui Shirosagi, and a purple circular tattoo with a black Beyblade symbol on his left shoulder. In Evolution he wears a sleeveless, fur-trimmed green jacket, torn to expose his midriff, over a black shirt, with a studded belt carrying a purple 'S' buckle, long black gloves, brown boots and dark brown pants. Turbo swaps in an aquamarine turtleneck, lime-striped gloves and trousers, and dark-grey knee-padded boots, while keeping the green jacket and buckle. In Surge the fur-trimmed jacket returns with white stripes and no shirt underneath, paired with dark-green pants and his earlier gloves and boots.

Silas comes across as rude, arrogant and thoroughly confident, indifferent to the damage he does to an opponent's Bey, as when he sends Valt's Victory Valtryek into a pillar hard enough to crack its Layer. He only really applies himself against bladers he rates as genuine threats, brushing off everyone else, and he has a habit of cracking his neck to unsettle whoever he's facing. That arrogance, nearly a match for Lui's, eventually costs him — overconfidence against Free De La Hoya during the World League ends in defeat. Across the series he gradually softens, growing kinder toward his peers, especially Valt, even while flashes of his old pride resurface now and then.
