Rina Nekoyama

Biography

Rina Nekoyama is a video-game-only character from Battle Fortress, a cat-themed blader who peppers her speech with cat puns and chases after bladers stronger than herself. She uses information as leverage, only revealing what she knows about a mysterious snake-Beyblade wielder to Gingka if he beats her in battle, and eventually falls for him once he wins their final match, though he does not reciprocate.

Long black hair falls loose around Rina's shoulders, topped by an orange-yellow cat-eared hat trimmed in white fur, with matching fur-trimmed fingerless gloves on her hands. A pink choker styled after a cat's collar sits at her throat. Her top layers a yellow tank top, cut with four holes, over a pink tank top beneath, the two together forming a paw-print pattern across her front. She finishes the look with brown fur-trimmed boots.

Rina chases what she wants by whatever route gets her there, and treats alliances as tools rather than commitments, joining forces with others only for as long as it serves her. Cat puns slip into her speech constantly, and she carries a flirtatious streak that leans toward whoever proves strongest in battle. Losing to Gingka in their final match doesn't sour her; instead she decides on the spot that his strength makes him worth pursuing, and she turns openly affectionate toward him afterward, though he shows no interest in return.
