Beyblade

Rickson Clay is a level-headed BC Sol blader who prefers strategy to flash and cheers his teammates on from the stands. He is best friends with Stan Hamburg and offers to put in a good word for him with SB Rios, whose manager is Rickson's own father, Banner Clay. Though initially standoffish toward Valt Aoi and Rantaro Kiyama, he warms to them over time and grows more skilled and team-minded as the series continues.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tan-skinned with dark blue eyes and dark blue hair worn in a distinctive style, Rickson wears gold hoop earrings and a turtleneck jacket accented in yellow and green with a green zipper, paired with dark blue trousers, long white socks and green shoes.

Rickson stays calm under pressure, thinking through strategy mid-battle and cheering his friends on from the stands rather than the field. He's close with Stan Hamburg and looks out for him, even offering to put in a word with SB Rios, the team his own father manages. Though he starts out somewhat rude to Valt Aoi and Rantaro Kiyama, he comes to understand them, and as the series continues he grows more skilled and places real value on teamwork. He also has a habit of dropping quotes that only make sense in the exact moment he says them.
