Biography

Quon Limon is a skateboarding blader who left his close friend and rival Xander Shakadera's Sword Flames dojo to found his own team, Ice Blaze, seeking new battles and friendships. Friendly but initially dismissive of Valt after beating him, he struggles to see why Xander and Shu rate Valt so highly until their rematch changes his mind. He eventually returns to Sword Flames for good after being defeated by Valt, closing the loop on his search for meaning in blading.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Quon has light blonde hair streaked with black and green eyes, along with a single red earring in his left ear. His black shirt carries a green snake design, a nod to his Beyblade representing Quetzalcoatl, the Meso-American serpent, and is finished with a red collar. Over it he wears a green jacket with black sleeves and black-and-orange trim at the collar, cuffs and hem, marked with a black star and a yellow star on the right side and a stylised yellow letter Q on the left. He completes the outfit with black shoes and blue trousers.

Skateboarding tricks come easily to Quon, and that same skill carries over into how he handles himself in bey battles. His hunger to face strong opponents left him feeling out of place at Xander's dojo, prompting a training journey in search of new battles, friends and rivals. Generally he is friendly and relaxed, and respects strong Bladers like Shu Kurenai, though for a stretch after beating Valt he grew dismissive of him, partly from not understanding why Xander and Shu rated him so highly — a view that shifted once Valt beat him in their rematch. He speaks up readily when he sees others getting things wrong, calling out Valt's leadership as team captain and the Beigoma Academy BeyClub's teamwork, but he is just as ready to admit his own mistakes, later conceding Xander had been right about Valt's strength.
