Biography

Paul Orlando is a determined blader who travels from Holland hoping to join the prestigious BC Sol team, only to lose his tryout battle against Rantaro Kiyama. Confident, formally dressed, and fiercely independent, he refuses help from others and vows to return stronger to earn his place on the team someday, despite the single documented defeat that closes out his appearance in the series.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Paul keeps his grey hair cut evenly short and has jade green eyes. He dresses formally, in a short-sleeved work shirt done up with a dark grey bow at the collar, and grey suspenders run down to fasten onto his trousers.

Paul carries himself with real seriousness and determination, backed by genuine confidence in his own ability — he tells Rantaro outright, before their match, that he expects to win. Losing doesn't shake that resolve; he vows to come back stronger and earn his place with BC Sol, and he means to do it on his own, turning down help from others along the way. His drive to reach that goal runs deep.

Swept by Rantaro in his BC Sol tryout, though travelling from Holland alone and vowing to come back earns him some credit for resolve.
