Biography

One Cross is Season 3's secondary antagonist, the eldest and strongest of Zero Cross's nine known children, working loyally at his father's side to fulfill Zero's controlling vision for Beyblade's future. Calmer and friendlier than his siblings despite his overwhelming power, he steamrolls nearly every opponent he faces, including several siblings, before finally meeting his match against Jaxon Cross. He draws with Jaxon once and eventually loses to him in their decisive final battle.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

In the manga, One cuts a tall, lean, muscular figure with a defined six-pack, an X-shaped mark on his neck, and a few strands of hair shaped into an X. His streetwear pairs a dark blue sleeveless top with a light blue jacket, dark gray jeans, and black sneakers. The anime redraws him with a flatter jawline in place of the manga's sharper one, dresses him in a light-blue sleeveless top under a thin, hoodless black jacket bearing the Cross Corporation emblem, and swaps the jeans for black sweatpants with a matching light-blue stripe and green X-marked sneakers; his muscular build is toned down considerably, his shoulders and muscle definition softened, and the neck mark disappears. Later, in the True Future Arc, he adopts a fresh outfit close to his manga look, keeping the same jacket hoodie and black top while retaining his more recent anime build.

One carries a touch of the family's sense of superiority, but next to his more arrogant, haughty siblings he comes across as calmer and easier to approach, making him the most personable member of the Cross Clan. His loyalty to his father runs deep, and he willingly carries out his father's wishes.
