special move

Nine Cross is one of Zero Cross's nine children, dismissed by her family as the weakest sibling until she joins Jaxon's team Persona in Season 3, claiming she wants to stop her father's plan to remake Xenon City's pro blading system. She co-designed Might Emperor with Multi before eventually getting her own bey, Rage Ragna, and grows close with several teammates even as most of her siblings continue to write her off as a failure. Her warm reception from teammates hides a darker truth: she secretly remained loyal to Zero all along, always intended to betray Persona once they neared the top of the X Tower. Among her family, she resents eldest brother One Cross in particular for standing by while their father used her held-back Custom Line Expand Blade designs, even as elder sister Two Cross is one of the few siblings who never treated her as lesser.

Appearance

What They Look Like

Nine is of average height, her ponytail mixing light and dark blue hair, with blue eyes and a yellow, X-shaped headdress. Her shirt is blue with light purple vertical zigzags and a high collar, short sleeves, and a yellow "X" over a blue star on one side; over it she sometimes wears a gray, short-sleeved collared jacket carrying the Cross Corporation emblem. She adds sky blue wristbands striped in yellow, lavender fingerless gloves, a white skort, gray socks, and white sneakers trimmed in blue with black laces and soles. On occasion she straps on a jetpack that lets her take to the air.
