Biography
Mutsuki Kagami, nicknamed Tsuki, is an emo-styled blader in the Rising manga whose brother Yoichi died developing rival Chimera Beyblade technology alongside Susumu Hiwatari's Fringe research. Calm and playful outside battle, Tsuki turns sharp and aggressive in combat, wielding Bloody Moon's scythes and spears. He defeats Daichi decisively before losing to Tyson, then departs on his mother's motorcycle only to cross paths with the Bladebreakers again at the GBC 2.
Appearance and personality
What They Look Like, and How They Behave
Pale skin sets off Mutsuki Kagami's long hair, which splits into purple on one side and blue on the other in a style close to Hilary Tachibana's. His eyes are yellow, ringed underneath with red eyeliner, and his wardrobe leans heavily on black, styled after contemporary emo fashion, with only his skirt breaking the colour. He layers a black tank top cut like a jacket over a mass of belts, adds a Scottish-inspired skirt patterned in black and red, and finishes with black-and-white striped leggings and heavy, strapped boots.
Away from competition, Mutsuki keeps an easygoing, cheerful manner and leans into a deliberately cute affect. Once a match starts, though, that softness drops and he turns focused and serious, matching the aggressive edge of his Beyblade's scythe- and spear-like parts as he goes after his opponent.
