Misaki Hiwatari

Biography

Misaki Hiwatari is Kai Hiwatari's mother, a manga-exclusive figure who is absent for almost the entire story apart from a short cameo during Kai and Tyson's battle in the Super Battle Tournament. She is depicted as a dutiful daughter-in-law who nursed Voltaire back to health after his collapse, and she keeps a pet dog named Hana at home.

At work, Misaki keeps to a plain office suit, in keeping with the seriousness of her job. At home, though, she swaps that formality for something far more relaxed: a sweater layered over a skirt, paired with tights — a plainer, softer look than the one she wears on the job.
