Kyo Sandai

Biography

Kyo Sandai is the newest recruit of Team Rideout in Beyblade Burst, fighting with Uber Unicrest Upper Xtreme. Eager and admiring of teammates Lui Shirosagi and Gabe Brunai, he pushes himself to match their skill, but his ego and temper sometimes get the better of him in battle. He's shown repeatedly confronting Lui in outrage over his rudeness, needing team leader Gabe to hold him back and calm him down, and is noted for faking his emotional reactions when moved by something.

Short for his age, Kyo has black, spiky hair that resembles Daigo's. Day to day he wears an orange v-neck t-shirt with white cuffs on the sleeves, beige cargo trousers and sneakers, switching into team Rideout's standard training kit whenever he is working out.

Kyo pushes himself to close the gap between his own skill and that of stronger bladers, and he openly admires both Lui Shirosagi and Gabe Brunai for their ability. That same drive tips over into overconfidence at times, an ego that has cost him matches he might otherwise have won. His temper is another weak point: he has confronted Lui in anger more than once, needing Gabe to physically hold him back and talk him down. Oddly, whenever something genuinely moves him, he covers it up by faking the reaction instead.
