Biography

Kyle Hakim, nicknamed the Masked Blader, is a solitary, mocking Beyblade Burst Turbo antagonist who hides his face behind a jackal mask and secretly gathers data on strong Beybladers to feed to Hyde's Dread Tower operation. Wielding Hazard Kerbeus, previously owned by Ken Midori under mysterious circumstances, he taunts rivals like Aiger Akabane and Free De La Hoya while photographing their battles for later scouting. He wins a Battle Royale-adjacent tag match early on but loses more often than he wins across the Ghost Ship, Beyathlon, and Dread Tower arcs, and is ultimately outsmarted by Phi, who destroys his phone to stop his spying.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Kyle is tall but frail-looking, with pale skin, hair in a shade close to classic green, and amber eyes set beneath red facial markings. He carries three tattoos: a red, chain-patterned design that wraps his neck and left upper arm, and a green ring resembling a jawline around his right shin. His outfit is a sleeveless, dark spring-green one-piece suit striped in light green from collar to hem, with the right leg cut away at the thigh, a yellow rhombus-studded ring around the torso and a yellow chain motif on each leg. A deep-azure fur scarf hangs at his neck, and his orange-red shoes are finished with light-green toe caps and soles. Over his face he wears a dark-green mask shaped like a jackal, with red highlighting the ears, eyes and mouth and a bright cerulean snout.

Kyle keeps to himself for the most part, surfacing mainly to mock bladers he considers beneath him. Behind that aloofness is a working role: he uses his phone to gather information on powerful Beys and passes it along to Hyde at Dread Tower.
