Biography

Kit Lopez is an energetic BC Sol junior blader, the son of team manager Ange Lopez and best friend of teammate Honey Guten, who first shows up stealing Aiger Akabane's Beyblade for fun before challenging him with his own Air Knight. Cheerful but easily distracted, he idolizes and later trains directly under Valt Aoi, treating him as an 'aniki' while also hoping to someday surpass him. Across Beyblade Burst Turbo and QuadStrike he keeps advancing his gear from Air Knight to the Quad-era Whirl Knight, mixing wins over rookies with recurring losses to the series' three protagonists, Valt, Aiger, and Bel Daizora.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

As a boy in his earliest appearances, Kit has bright orange hair, dark brown eyebrows and green eyes, topped with a light blue flat cap that matches a light green, blue-striped sweater; underneath sits a yellow t-shirt marked with an orange spot and a white Beyblade emblem ringed in white. By the time of his later appearances he has grown taller and his hair has lengthened into a more defined style. His look shifts to a black-and-white baseball cap bearing an orange Beyblade symbol, a matching shirt, and a crimson leather jacket lined in orange, worn over facial markings that echo his Bey's Layer. Fingerless gloves in a bright blue finish, torn denim jeans and yellow sneakers with white toes and ankle circles complete the outfit, a look he keeps unchanged into his later manga appearances.

Watching a good battle genuinely excites Kit, and his curiosity about how different Beyblades perform runs deep enough that he regularly turns to a Bey Analyzer to study them. He warms to people fast, striking up a friendship with Valt Aoi within a day of meeting him, and he is a constant, cheerful presence cheering on both Valt and Rantaro Kiyama from the sidelines. That enthusiasm comes with a tendency to wander off task, and on one occasion he delays bringing Valt to BC Sol for a full day simply to talk about Spain, earning a scolding from team manager Kristina Kuroda for it. A playful, teasing side also shows through: he likes to catch out bladers he judges inexperienced, and slyly lifts Valt's Victory Valtryek Boost Variable not long after Valt arrives in Spain as a BC Sol recruit.
