Biography

Jin Aizawa is an eccentric, cryptic blader in Beyblade Burst who claims to be watched over by '323 guardian spirits' and deliberately bumps into people - including strong opponents like Shu Kurenai - to unsettle them before a match. Despite his odd, narcolepsy-like fatigue and unsettling habits, he holds a strong personal code of fair play, growing offended when Daigo Kurogami suspects him of cheating against Shu. He fights with Jumbo Jormuntor Infinity Cycle, losing a hard-fought anime battle to Shu and, in the manga's Valt Arc, falling to Rantaro Kiyama's Stamina Wings after underestimating him.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Jin's hair is raven black, and he tops it with a blue hat over a sleeveless light blue hoodie marked with a yellow letter J. Black pants, shoes and an undershirt round out the outfit. His teeth come to sharp triangular points, a trait he shares with Xander Shakadera and Lui Shirosagi. Bags sit under his eyes, giving him a perpetually tired look that carries into the way he moves, shuffling and stumbling as he walks.

Jin comes across as a character wrapped in mystery, speaking in riddles and insisting that '323 guardian spirits' watch over him. He has a habit of deliberately bumping into people as a kind of challenge or warning before a battle, a trick he uses even on stronger opponents like Shu Kurenai to rattle their focus. Odd as his behaviour is, he holds the rules of the sport in high regard, much like Yugo Nansui; when Daigo seemed to accuse him of planning to cheat against Shu, Jin insisted firmly that he'd never do such a thing and that he and his bey had trained hard to earn a win honestly.
