Biography

Ivan, known as Ivan Zakovic in Japan, is a gentle former BC Sol member in Beyblade Burst Evolution who leaves the team to pursue his real dream of becoming a Bey Trainer. Unlike most teammates, he stays friendly toward Valt Aoi and Rantaro Kiyama even after they're blamed for team losses, eventually departing not out of resentment but because he realizes he lacks their passion for competing. He resurfaces as the Royals' Bey Trainer, visibly happier and more confident, notably coaching Ghasem's launching technique ahead of a rematch with BC Sol.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

He wears his hair as a mohawk mixing blonde and light brown, above a pair of small blue eyes. A brown beanie beret sits on his head, worn with a plain white shirt with an orange collar, large pink marks on each cheek, brown trousers and brown shoes.

Gentle and kind-natured, he tends to hold back and let others go first into a beybattle, and stands out as the friendliest of his trio with Stan Hamburg and Rickson Clay — he refuses to join the rest of BC Sol in blaming Valt Aoi and Rantaro Kiyama when the team starts losing. Recognising that he isn't as devoted to Beyblade as Valt and Rantaro are, he eventually leaves the team to train as a Bey Trainer instead. The move suits him: as the Royals' new trainer he grows noticeably happier, throwing himself into helping the team improve their launches and even coaching Ghasem ahead of a rematch with BC Sol.

No Blader Profile yet: nothing we hold describes how Ivan actually battles, and we rate from results on screen or on the page, not from a guess.
