Biography

Himeko Midori, known as Himeko Midorikawa in Japan, is a minor Beyblade Burst character who is Ken Midori's mother. She travels with her family's puppet-show troupe and shares the family's ventriloquism talent. Warm and kind-hearted, she's shown expressing quiet happiness in Episode 4 upon learning her shy son has made a new friend, which is essentially the entirety of her documented role.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Magenta eyes and green hair split down the centre and swept to both sides mark her out, along with a single pointed fang showing on the left side of her mouth. As a mother rather than a blader herself, her look leans practical: a light pink shirt buttoned down the front, a black apron tied over it, trousers striped in white, and a plain pair of pink socks tucked into white shoes.

Warmth is the first thing that comes through with her: episode four catches her genuinely pleased that her son Ken has made a friend, even though the family's travelling lifestyle makes that rare. She comes across as gentle and good-natured rather than strict, and like the rest of her household she has picked up a knack for ventriloquism, a skill that runs in the family rather than one she developed alone.
