Biography

Hae-jin Oh, known as Houi Oh in Japan, is a tall, quietly gentle Korean archer and blader in Beyblade Burst Turbo who wields Archer Hercules 13 Eternal, using his archery-honed precision as his launching technique. Reserved but supportive of friends Aiger and Naru, he masks a genuine fear of snakes and famously makes smoothies that taste terrible to everyone but himself. He competes seriously in the Lúinor Cup, beating Aiger once before losing their rematch, and gradually grows warmer and more expressive over the tournament thanks to the fun he has bonding with his new friends.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Hae-jin is tall and muscular, with tanned skin, dark grey hair that spikes up in curls, and red eyes. He wears a black sweatshirt with only one sleeve, red trousers, and red shoes trimmed in yellow, along with dark-yellow armour plating edged in silver across his waist and left shoulder.

Quiet by default, Hae-jin turns out to be friendly and gentle once you get past the reserve, and he is especially supportive and kind toward Aiger and Naru. That loyalty showed when he refused to let his trainers pull him back to Korea before his semi-final against Aiger, aware of how disappointed Aiger would be to miss a match he had been looking forward to. He rarely smiles or laughs at first, but time spent with Aiger, Naru and the others eventually brings it out of him. Snakes are his one real fear, for reasons never explained, and his cooking has its own reputation — a smoothie he made for his friends left all three of them sick after trying it.
